Barbara’s Serenade bands, managed by Barbara Occhino, offer the versatility of multi-instrumentalists who perform as duos, small combos, and full bands. Drawing inspiration from the American Songbook, jazz, swing, blues, pop and rock along with famous Latin and international melodies, our romantic and lively repertoire makes us a favorite among music fans of all ages.
The musicians are managed by Barbara Espinosa Occhino, a Cuban multilingual vocalist (English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Portuguese) who performs in the Metro New York area. Our professional musicians have toured the US and abroad, performing in major venues like Carnegie Hall, Madison Square Garden, Las Vegas and Northeast casinos, and with celebrities like Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, Buddy Rich, The Supremes, and others. Locally, our bands have performed at Stamford's The Palace, Harbor Point, The Bartlett Arboretum, corporate events, festivals, art galleries, country clubs, retail venues, and private affairs. In addition to bands, Barbara can provide award-winning ballroom and folkloric dancers/instructors, theater and comedy performers, choirs, and custom entertainment for special events, fundraisers and shows. |
