ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born in Cuba, Barbara's writing is inspired by the people and places that have colored her life in the US and abroad. She has been published in three Chicken Soup for the Soul books, has been featured at book signings at Barnes & Noble and charities, was a guest author on the online Non-Fiction Chat with Tina, was interviewed live on WGCH radio (Greenwich, CT), and was selected as a featured author for the May 2023 Writers Read "Hi Mom" show at City Winery New York. She has earned first-place awards in national marketing competitions. Her copywriting credits include public relations and marketing campaigns, magazines, national print columns, commercials, TV pilot treatments, and training films. She has published numerous works for government agencies, businesses, organizations, and Fortune 500 companies. Barbara is a member of the Writes & Bites author group in Rye, New York.
